MaryLou Johnston Lingis
MaryLou Johnston Lingis, 83, of Carmichaels, died Monday, May 29, 2023, with her family by her side.
She was born April 1, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank R. and Emma Krupinski Pierce.
MaryLou worked as a bank teller and was also a former owner of Lingis Manufacturing & Machine Co., Inc.
She had lived in Boardman, Ohio at one time.
MaryLou loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Greg (Darlene) Johnston of Carmichaels and Anthony (Karen) Lingis III, of Eighty Four; six grandchildren: Courtney (Ryan) Kaczmark, Jessica (Adam) Murphy, Brandi (Zach) Herring, Sheena (Adam) Martin, Anthony Lingis IV and Tyler Lingis; great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Alex, Macie, Garrett, Reid, Jameson, Lillian, Aubrey, Emma, Leah and Margaret; sister, JoAnn Pierce of Boardman, Ohio.
Deceased are a son, Ronald “RJ” Johnston; a daughter, Deborah Anne Johnston Gencel; and a brother, Ronald Pierce.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the time of the Blessing Service, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, with Father J. Francis Frazer officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
