Charles E. Bland
Charles E. Bland, 82 of Waynesburg, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
He was born February 17, 1941, in Belle Vernon, a son of the late Wilbur Owen and Emma Wilson Bland.
Chuck worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local Union 66 Pipeliner’s.
He was a former Auditor for Franklin Township at one time.
Chuck was a member of the First Assembly of God, East View.
He loved to hunt, read his Bible and do Bible studies.
On June 18, 1960, he married Linda Rush, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Ronald (Terri) Bland, Jeffrey (Kim) Bland, Pamela (Kent) Marisa and Sandy (Seth) Wilson all of Waynesburg; eight grandchildren: Craig (Brooke Whitty) Bland of Waynesburg, Adam (Jess) Bland of Waynesburg, Todd (Tiffany) Bland of Waynesburg, Chris (Alayna) Bland of Waynesburg, Morgan (Tom Baily) Bland of Waynesburg, Erica (Steve) Heitz of Havertown, Allison (Richard Powell) Blaker of Bellmawr, N.J. and Zach Wilson of Waynesburg; and six great-grandchildren: Paisley Bland, Landry Bland, Easton Bland, Parker Bland, Benson Bland and Ben Heitz.
Deceased is a brother, Jim Bland.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in the Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, with Pastor Ben Williamson, officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
