Margaret Ann Duffy Noble

Margaret Ann Duffy Noble, 80, of North Strabane Township, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, after suffering injuries from a fall. She was born June 21, 1942, in East Pittsburgh, a daughter of James and Margaret Duffy.

On April 20, 1968, she married Paul A. Noble, who survives.

Peggy was a longtime and devout member of St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish, Canonsburg, where she was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. She also participated in RCIA for many years and taught marriage preparation classes with her husband, Paul.

She served as Judge of Elections for North Strabane Township for many years.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and bird watching.

Surviving, along with her husband, are three children, Leigh Anne (Dave) Oppedisano, Sharon (Dave) Warchol and Mark (Lindsay) Noble; eight grandchildren, Michael, Marisa and Olivia Oppedisano, Luke, Zachary and Jillian Warchol, and Riley and Molly Noble; two sisters, Maureen (Chuck) Maniccia and Coleen (Greg) Bortz.

Deceased is a brother, Jim Duffy (wife Joyce, surviving).

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, in Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, in St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish. Interment at a later date, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
