Dolores V. Herwig
Dolores V. Herwig passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. She was born November 3, 1938.
She was the beloved wife, of 56 years, to George Herwig; loving mother of Robert (Donna), Gary (Pam), and Scott (Dawn) Szarmach, and Patti (Tony) Balestra; sister of Bonnie (Joe) Hritz and the late Frank (Brenda survives) Bujalski; grandmother of Justin, Jaxson, Gary Jr. and Careen Szarmach, Nicole Balestra and Allison (Aaron) Seelbinder; great-grandmother of Andrew; she is also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Szafranski-Eberlein Funeral Home, Inc., where family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, at 101 3rd Street, Carnegie.
Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Raphael the Archangel Parish, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
