Jon A. Wise, 59, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 13, 2023. He was born April 28, 1964 in Suffolk, England.

Mr. Wise was a 1982 graduate of Trotwood High School, where he was a member of the 800M relay State Championship Team.

He severed in the United States Army and was employed as a union carpenter for many years.

Mr. Wise was an excellent cook, was an avid sports fan, and was also an avid fan of Tom Brady.

He loved his grandchildren and his dog, “Brady”. Mr. Wise will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his mother, Jean I. Anderson of Washington; his father, John W. (Evelyn) Wise of Englewood, Ohio; a son, Paul Wise of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Keisha Wise of Pittsburgh, Jonay Jordan of Florida, and Tamar King of Pittsburgh; a brother, Kevin (Michele) Anderson of Washington; four sisters, Valerie Anderson of Washington, Rhonda King of Virginia Beach, Va., Juanita (James) Thomas of Houston, Texas, and Salathiel Wise of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, Julius, Maikai, Paul Jr., Alexander, Kehlani, Jau’mair, Janiyah, Kaelyn, Jayden, Daniel Jr., Josiah and Tamere; a great-grandson, Ny’Zair; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by twin daughters, Tara, who died at birth and Sara; a sister, Denise Chandler, and stepfather, Frederick Anderson.
