Samantha Lynn Klinsky

It is with the heaviest, broken hearts that the family of Samantha L. Klinsky, 33, of Washington, announce the passing of their beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, partner and all together best friend Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Samantha was born in Washington Hospital August 9, 1989, to Amy Freeman Klinsky and Robert “Bob” Klinsky Sr.
She attended Fort Cherry and Burgettstown schools, always remembering a special teacher, Mrs. Ann Gary of Fort Cherry, for her kindness and guidance.
She leaves behind longtime partner, Dave “Mikey” Mitchell.
She had a true love for God and her family; her niece and nephews were the lights of her life.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Judith Klinsky; and her great-grandmother, Sue Klinsky.
She is survived by her parents, Amy and Bob Klinsky; siblings, Ashley (James Jr.) Heibert, Katie (Nick) Pitzarella, Robert Klinsky Jr. (Rachel Bellaire), and Paige Klinsky (Craig Elmore II); paternal grandmother, Marlene Walker; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sue Freeman; great-aunt, Ann Marie Klinsky; nieces, Aniah and Holland; nephews, Giovanni, Harrison, Ezra, Craig “Chunny”, Isaac and Jude, who were the loves of her life; goddaughter, Brooklynn Dudley; stepchildren, Xavier, Layla and Cash; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Sam loved Cinderella. Her favorite food was popsicles. She was a professional napper. She loved shoes and wore them always. She was a good storyteller. Glitter was her favorite color. She was a terrible cook, but good eater. She was a beautiful daughter, loving sister, and the best aunt ever. She leaves a large, empty spot in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements will be private for family only, per her wishes. A celebration of Sam’s life will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, August 6, at the VFW in Atlasburg.
