F. Jean Cigana
F. Jean Zagar Cigana, beloved wife of Carl A. “Bo” Cigana passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26 at the age of 87.
She was born June 10, 1936, a daughter of the late Martin and Ann Zagar. Jean grew up in Strabane, with her siblings.
On November 6, 1954 she married the love of her life Carl who welcomed her with open arms when she entered into heaven.
Jean enjoyed finding a good bargain, polka dancing, and traveling to Aruba and Geneva-on-the- lake with her husband and family.
A dedicated employee, she worked for Giant Eagle for almost 40 years where she made lifelong friends and was a regular contributor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
A longtime resident of Muse, Jean is survived by her cherished son, Carl B “CB” (Patty) Cigana of West Mifflin; her brother, John “Mickey” (Tina) Zagar of Interlachen, Fla.; three grandchildren, Brandon Cigana of New York state, Ashley (John) Karger of Cranberry Township, and Kylee Cigana and fiance Nathan Black of Pittsburgh. She leaves cherished memories to her four great-grandchildren Maddie, Mason, Giuliana, and Maebrie, and several nieces and nephews, and beloved friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Patrick Zagar; sister, Ida Agostinelli.
