Kathaleen Karen Kucic Lawson, 80, of Washington, formerly of Burgettstown, died Monday, March 6, 2023, in South Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Canonsburg.

The daughter of the late John and Violet Kucic of Burgettstown. She worked at the Farm Restaurant in Florence, Bobbi Brooks, George Washington Restaurant, Hills and Ames Department Stores, and McDonalds, all in Washington.

She leaves behind a husband of 61 years, Douglas R. Lawson, they had been together for 74 years. Also surviving is a daughter, Tirney (Bruce) Kidd, of Avella; daughter, Tammy (Mark) Welling, of Washington; son, William (Jodi) Lawson, of Washington; five grandchildren: Kayla Welling, of Dayton, Ohio, Cody (Robin) Welling, of Avella, Brianna (Ben) Seitz, of Washington, Samantha Lawson, of Washington and Allison Lawson, of Washington; and three great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Westlyn and Wylder Welling, all of Avella.

Deceased is a brother, Mark (Sandy) Kucic, formerly of Burgettstown.

At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or funeral services.
