Arlene K. Demko
Arlene K. Demko, 89, of Fredericktown, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, in Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born June 16, 1933, in Fredericktown, a daughter of the late Chester A. and Anna Ruth Lowman Kendall.
Arlene was a 1951 graduate of East Bethlehem High School.
She was employed as a secretary at Fredericktown Real Estate, Rittel-Rosfeld and as a clerk at Kaufmann’s department store. Most recently she was employed at East Beth Municipal Authority.
Arlene was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fredericktown American Legion Post #391, and a member and officer of the Civic Club.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and in her younger years, dancing. Most recently she liked painting on her iPad.
Surviving are a sister, Bonnie Good of Bridgeville; a brother-in-law, Michael Pegues, and nephew, Taj R. Pegues, both of San Francisco, Calif.
Deceased are two sisters, Pamela B. Pegues, and Sandra B. Kresovich.
Friends will be received from 12 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown. Interment will be in Greene County Memorial Park at a later date.
