Charles Gerald “Jerry” Radlinsky, 83, of Canonsburg, unexpectedly passed away Friday, March 17, 2023.

Jerry was the beloved husband of 47 years to Lois J. McLaughlin Radlinsky; father of Timothy C. Radlinsky and the late Matthew C. Radlinksky; grandfather of Anastashia Jean Radlinsky and Jacklynne Leigh Radlinsky; loving son of the late Charles and Mary Pepe Radlinsky; dear brother of Carol (the late Francis) Walters and the late Camille (the late William P.) Daube; nephew of Mary (Foley) Pepe; brother-in-law of the late William E. (the late Loretta) McLaughlin; uncle of Michele Walters (Michael L.) Thornton, Mary Ann Walters (Bradford E.) Hill, Paul C. Daube, Scott W. (Joyce) McLaughlin, and Michael S. (Beth) McLaughlin; cousin of Dr. Patricia Pepe.

Jerry is also survived by numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He adored his beloved English Bulldog, Lexi, who survives.

Jerry was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed a long, successful career before retiring from his position as test supervisor of Electric Transformers from Cooper Industries, formerly McGraw-Edison.

Not one to sit idly, Jerry’s retirement didn’t last very long before he took up a position with H&R Block, where he stayed for about 15 years.

Being a man of many talents, Jerry created an oasis in his yard by designing and cultivating lush gardens, spectacular ponds, waterfalls and more. At one time, he was even a TV repairman, which is how he met the love of his life, Lois. He often joked about meeting her on a service call.

While the loss of Jerry is immeasurable, the family takes some solace in knowing that Jerry is in heaven, where he’s joyfully reunited with those who went before him, including his favorite pets, all while enjoying a big, fat cigar.

Arrangements by Beinhauer-Bogan. Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at 164 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 15317 (724-745-5810), where a funeral service, with full military honors, will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, March 23.
