Bendy Joseph Holland, Sr.
Bendy Joseph Holland, Sr., 64, of Washington, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 19, 1958, in Cecil, Washington County, a son of the late Bendy Menoha Holland and Sarah Evelyn Campbell Holland.
Bendy was owner/ operator of an over-the-road trucking company.
An avid football fan, Bendy enjoyed watching Family Feud on television, riding his Harley Davidson down the Dragon’s Tail in Tennessee, classic cars, and he loved vacationing with his beloved family.
On August 21, 2015, he married Loretta L. Boyd, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Bendy J. Holland, Jr. of Lone Pine; three daughters, Jodie (Jessika) Holland of Texas, Clara Chasteen of Tennessee, and Jennifer Fisher of Waynesburg; a brother, Bill Wigner; and four sisters, Donna (Fred) Stewart, Sarah Troutman, Louise Cullen and Cheryl Sager; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; a former daughter-in-law, Stephanie Holland; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Leonard Wigner; and three sisters, Bonnie Haupt, Marie Wishner and Martha Wigner.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 27, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 28.
Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
