Jon Edward Greer
Jon Edward Greer, 59, of Washington, died Monday, March 27, 2023, at home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born April 3, 1963, to Shirley and the late Theodore Greer.
A 1981 graduate of Trinity High School, he earned a degree in HVAC Repair from Triangle Tech.
Jon moved to Florida, working in the HVAC field in numerous stadiums and homes for 28 years. He returned to Washington and pursued his trade until his cancer forced his retirement.
He loved drinking a beer and watching the Steelers. When you watched the game with him, you had to wear ear plugs, he got very excited.
He liked to dance, sing karaoke, and listen to music. He also enjoyed old western movies, and he loved his cats.
Surviving are his siblings, Brenda (Steve) Cates, David (the late Sue) Baker, Dennis (Ellen) Baker, Norman (Brenda) Baker, Jr.; Sherry (Roy) Lane and Ted (Karen) Greer; too many nieces and nephews to mention by name, but you are not forgotten; and all who knew and loved him, especially his best friend, Gerald Viteck.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the many care givers and the great care Jon received.
