Alexandra Wilson, 18, of Washington, passed unexpectedly Sunday, April 30, 2023.

She was born June 30, 2004, in Washington, a daughter of Langford “Lank” and Julie Yaksic Wilson of Washington.

Alexandra was a senior at Washington High School, and was active in many sports, including softball, baseball, wrestling, soccer, track & field and tennis. She had been accepted into Kent State’s Pre-Med Neuroscience Program.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her brother, Joe Wilson of Washington; her grandparents, Ted and Jane Yaksic, Jim and Pam Wilson, and John and Chris Zaremba. She was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 5. All other services will be private.
