Alva M. Ealy
Alva M. Ealy, 97, of Prosperity, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Donnell House, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 13, 1925 a daughter of the late Albert and Charlotta Coffield.
On December 9, 1942, she married Albert L. Ealy. They spent 40 loving years together before his passing on April 26, 1983.
Alva enjoyed quilting, puzzles, and reading Amish books. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by four children, Arlena Lee of Prosperity, Francis (Elaine) Ealy of Claysville, Irene Ealy of Prosperity, and Tom (Jan) Coffield of Prosperity; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sarah Prusakowski (Len), Charlotta Wright, and Emma Jane Edgell (Ed); two brothers, Robert Coffield (Mary), and John Coffield, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by two grandsons; two great-grandsons; three brothers, a brother who passed away in infancy, and one sister.
