Benjamin L. Adamson
Benjamin L. Adamson, 80, of Ravenna, Ohio, died Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Portage Medical Center, Ravenna, Ohio.
He was born October 12, 1942, in Lippincott, the sixth son of the late Alva W. and Martha Goslin Adamson.
Ben was a sheet metal worker with Chrysler for over 32 years.
He was a life member of the Moose Lodge #1234, the National Rifle Association and the United Auto Workers Local #122.
Ben enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and golfing.
His wife of 60 years Judith Watters, survives.
Also surviving are two children, Brian (Bonnie) Adamson of Atwater, Ohio and Jill (Jeff) Hughes of Rootstown, Ohio; three grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden and Hope; two brothers, John (Linda) Adamson of Ocala, Fla. and Jim (Lonnie) Adamson of Waynesburg; a sister, Betty Vandruff of Mt. Morris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased are five brothers: Charles, Robert, Joseph, George and Duane Adamson; and a sister, Elizabeth Lemley.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the hour of services, on Tuesday, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Reverend Nick Bardo, officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
