Randel Blair Pifer
Randel Blair Pifer passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born January 26, 1961, in Charleroi, the child of the late Raymond Earl Pifer, Marilyn Joanne Lahew-Pifer-Medlick and stepfather, Edward Thomas Medlick. He is survived by half-siblings: Raymond Earl Pifer, Howard John Pifer, Barbara Ann Pifer-Newman and Thomas Edward Medlick; two aunts, Connie Loughman, and Pamela Lahew-Clark; two uncles, Stanley “Peeper” Lahew and Jeff Lahew (Shelley Lahew); several nieces and nephews; and a son, Skyler Kichak.
Preceding him in death are an aunt, Peewee Mankey; and an uncle, Jack Mahew.
Randel graduated from Jefferson Morgan and Greene County Career & Technology Center (GCCTC) in 1982. He worked for Clearview Auto. He also worked in the construction and gas industries.
His passions were cars, guns and music. He was a self-taught guitarist and was in several bands in Greene County. He had several mentors: Butch Slifko, The Robinson Family and his grandpap Lahew (William Blair Lahew).
He will be extremely missed by his Aunt Pamela Clark.
Services will be held at Greene County Memorial at 12 p.m. on May 20, 2023. There will be a lunch served afterwards at the VFW in Waynesburg at 1 p.m. Services will be held for friends and family.
