Shirley Romain Semko
Shirley Romain Semko, 70, of Venetia, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of 21 years to the late Charles Semko Sr.
Born February 19, 1953, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Barbara and Robert Romain Sr.
She was the loving mother of Chaz Semko; cherished long-time friend of Carmine Nelson, Janet Kochuba and Jackie Koneski. Also survived by many friends.
Shirley enjoyed listening to the Gaither Brothers, traveling and cross stitching. Nothing brought Shirley more joy than volunteering her time to help others; she did mission work in Costa Rica. She was devoted to the church, and served proudly as an elder. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 19, in Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, in Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 250 Brookwood Road, Venetia, PA 15367. Everyone please meet at church. Burial will be private at the family’s request.
