Patricia G. Simpson, 77, of Washington passed away peacefully, Monday May 22, 2023, in her home, with her devoted family by her side.

Patty has gone to dance with her husband, cook with her mom, shop with her sister, and be her dad’s little girl.

She loved yellow, pineapples and Precious Moments. Holidays, especially Christmas, and her family were Patty’s favorite things, making sure her children knew how important family and traditions were.

On August 24, 1963, she married the love of her life, Charles R. Simpson Sr., who passed away August 15, 2015, just one week before they would have celebrated 52 years of marriage together.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, to whom she was their world: daughters, Terri (Mark) Gross of Washington, Sherri (Cliff) Standard of Monessen, and Rebecca (John) Steele of Washington; her son, Chuck (Allison) Simpson Jr., with whom she made her home; her beloved grandchildren, Ashley (Sandy) Standard, Tyler (Hayley) Gross, Sydney (Joel) Higurera, Cody Standard, Macy Gross, Kyle and Elizabeth Steele, and Adelyn Simpson; five great- grandchildren, Emma Standard, Makenzee Strauss, Emily, Scarlett and Sammy Higurera; her brother, Tony (Valerie) Gregor of Bethel Park; nephew, Jeff (Shirley) Livolsi; and nieces, Jennifer (Eric) McClelland, and Stephanie (Adam) Lloyd.
