George E. Liptak, Sr.
George E. Liptak, Sr., 67, of Muse, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
He was born February 23, 1956, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Edward and Jacqueline Hilderbrand Liptak.
Prior to his retirement, George worked at Canonsburg Hospital.
He enjoyed playing dartball, softball and bowling, and enjoyed watching football.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Pitcock Liptak of Muse; his sons, George (Mallory) Liptak of Robinson, Justin and Brandon Liptak, both of Muse; daughters, Autumn (Ron) Kotfis of Cecil, Amber (Jimmy) Vanderlee of Canonsburg; brother, Theodore (Aurelia) Liptak of Canonsburg; sisters, Debbie Parker and Judith Levy, both of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Stephanie Schultz, Dominic McCormick, Tyler Liptak, Skylar Liptak, Ashlyn Liptak and Jaxton Liptak; one great-grandchild, Carter Partee, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, Supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, in the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Salyer, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakspring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
