Glenda Elizabeth Rolek
Glenda Elizabeth Rolek, 81, of Eighty-Four passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 1, 2023, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh with her beloved husband by her side.
She was born August 28, 1942, in Macon Georgia, a daughter of the late William and Pauline Frankovich, with many brothers and sisters. Glenda had lived in Eighty-Four for the past 24 years and prior to that in Houston.
She had been employed with the former Brockway Glass Corp. in Washington as an Inspector and was a devoted homemaker. She and her husband had enjoyed making many friends at Pioneer Lakes R V Campgrounds in Sommerset for 44 years. Glenda was a member of the Slovak Club and the VFW in Strabane.
On October 10, 1964, she married George J. “Sonny” Rolek who survives after 59 years of marriage. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, many nieces, nephews and friends.
