Mary S. Molk

Mary S. Molk, 95, of Brownsville, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, in Mon Valley Care Center.

She was born May 13, 1928, in Denbeau Heights, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lawrynowicz Seminok.

Mrs. Molk was a 1946 graduate of Centerville High School.

Mary was employed as a secretary for Senator Bill Lane in Fredericktown for 20 years and also Fredericktown Real Estate, Piper Insurance.

She was a lifelong member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus.

On August 13, 1951, she married Alfred J. Molk Sr., who died in 2001.

Mrs. Molk was a first generation American and the last of her immediate family.

Surviving are four children, Bonnie Molk of Richeyville, Lt. Col. Marilee A. Molk USAF (retired) of Yorktown, Va., Dennis F. Molk (Wendy) of Lakeville, Minn., and Fred Molk (Karen) Of McMurray; three grandchildren, Jennifer R. Molk, Jessica Metcalf (Rob), and Zachary A. Molk; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are three sisters and two brothers.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, October 12, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where prayers will be offered at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 13, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

The family extends its sincerest gratitude to Mon Valley Care Center and OSPTA Hospice for their care and kindness shown to their mom during her stay.
