Linda Carol Lewis McClaskey
Linda Carol Lewis McClaskey, 77, of Waynesburg, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in her home.
She was born April 23, 1946, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Raymond Lewis and Mildred Ward Lewis.
Linda was a supervisor for the State Assistance office in Waynesburg for many years. Later, she owned and operated the Iron Skillet, which then became Tailgators. She then started and operated Scotty’s Pizza with her son, James. The restaurant got its name from her other son, who went by Scotty.
Surviving is her husband, Douglas McClaskey, whom she married in 2004.
Also surviving are her son, James (Toby) Whipkey of Graysville; two granddaughters, London and Pieper Whipkey of Graysville; one sister, Cinda (Greg) Miller of Arizona; one brother, David (Karen) Lewis of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is one son, John Scott Whipkey.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Entombment will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township, PA 15370. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Shane M. Ayers, director, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
