Randy J. Welsh
Randy J. Welsh, 59, of Brownsville, Centerville Borough, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in his home, surrounded by family.
He was born October 9, 1964, in Brownsville, a son of the late William C. and Vivian M. Franks Welsh.
Mr. Welsh was a 1982 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and served three years in the U.S Army Reserves.
Randy had been employed for many years as an electrician for Milcraft Products as well as self-employment for R and D Electrical.
He was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Post 705 Centerville. Randy was also a former member of the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Department.
In his free time, he enjoyed reading, studying history, documentary films, and hunting.
Surviving are two sons, Jacob Welsh (Chelsey) of Brownsville, and Joshua Welsh of Centerville; a sister, Debbie Dixon of Centerville; two brothers, Dennis Welsh (Rita) of Fredericktown, and Kevin Welsh of Nashville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Anita M. Welsh, who passed away in 2012; and a brother, William H. Welsh.
Friends will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 29, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville. A graveside committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 30, in Taylor Cemetery, 600 Old National Pike, Brownsville, with Pastor Ernie DeLuca officiating.
