Ruth Ann Cumer Yago
Ruth Ann Cumer Yago, 84, of McDonald, died Saturday, September 9, 2023, in her home.
She was born September 10, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of Alex and Edith Perrine Cumer.
Ruth graduated from Canonsburg Hospital School of Nursing in 1960, and worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son, John Joseph Yago of McDonald; daughters, Gina (Daniel) Kostrub, of McDonald and Alexis (Albert) Maresca of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey; brothers, Kenneth (Ruthann) Cumer of Claysville and Gerald (Mary) Cumer of Greensburg; sisters, Betty Novak of Canonsburg and Helen (Byron) Inman of Eugene, Oregon; sister-in-law, Shirley Cumer of Texas; seven grandchildren: Ashley, Justine, A.J. (Lara), Brett, Jacob, Dylan (Aniela) and Colin; one great-grandchild, A.J; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Yago; and brothers, Alex, Richard, Raymond and William Cumer.
