Mary Jane Woodhouse

Mary Jane Woodhouse, 95, of Eighty Four, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in her home, surrounded by family.

She was born February 5, 1928, in McConnells Mill, a daughter of the late Walter and Alice J. Stinger Fee.

Mary Jane was a graduate of Chartiers High School, and in her younger years, was employed by Canonsburg Canning. She later became a homemaker and mother after marrying Wallace J. Woodhouse on December 31, 1951. Mr. Woodhouse survives.

She enjoyed trips to the casino and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Also surviving are four sons, David J. Woodhouse, Wallace J. Woodhouse, Jr. and Kevin B. Woodhouse, all of Eighty Four, and John J. Woodhouse of Bentleyville; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, Walter and James Fee; and two sisters, Alice McClure and Betty Fee.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023, with Reverend Wray Fanton officiating. Interment will follow in Emmanuel United Presbyterian Cemetery.
