Driving in a danger zone
I am writing in regard to a vehicle accident that happened in early July in Canonsburg. A photo of its aftermath appeared in the Observer-Reporter. The location was Morganza Road and the vehicle landed in the Starbucks parking lot. This isn’t the first accident that has happened this way.
It also happened when a Wendy’s restaurant was in the location now being used by Starbucks. Who is going to decide we need a traffic light there, and when? Maybe making a left-hand turn should be prohibited when leaving McDonald’s or Starbucks. After all, crossing three lanes of traffic coming at you from the north and south to get to the far northbound lane is quite dangerous. Hopefully, someone can resolve this before another accident occurs.
