Gun control won’t help
There is not a greater tragedy than to take another’s life or, even worse, a child’s.
It was illegal when Adam Lanza stole his mother’s guns before the Newtown massacre in December. It was illegal when he shot his mother in the face, stole his mother’s car, took guns on school property, forced his way into school and started shooting people.
Please tell me again how passing more laws on gun owners who own their weapons legally will help the problem of the insane and criminals who will never obey laws.
This is not going to make our children safe. That’s just playing on our sympathy.
We have to remember we took an oath to protect the U.S. Constitution. Otherwise, what’s next? Banning handguns? Why not knives, scissors, forks or pencils? Oh, wait, people are killed in cars, so why not cars also? We banned certain types of drugs, and we can see how that has gone.
I think it’s time to go back to basics. Everything is so liberal. There isn’t any discipline. What was wrong is now right and what was right is now wrong.
