Hats off to Kathleen Kane

1 min read

Hats off to our new attorney general, Kathleen Kane, for stopping Gov. Tom Corbett’s plan to privatize the Pennsylvania Lottery and hand over its control to a foreign corporation.

After this company takes their “operational costs” off the top, how much will be left for the programs that Pennsylvania citizens enjoy, such as transportation for the disabled and elderly to get to medical appointments, home-delivered meals for the homebound and many others?

The Lottery is one of the most successful in the nation with a large surplus. How will this continue if a British company manages it? “Made In America” means “Stay in America.”
