Bound for D.C.
The culinary department at the Greene County Career and Technology Center is holding several fundraising events to send five students to Washington, D.C., to work at several Inaugural functions later this month.
We urge the community to rally around this effort to ensure the students and their instructor, Dan Wagner, are able to attend.
Representatives from this newspaper have accompanied students at two prior Inaugurals and have witnessed firsthand how valuable this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these talented youngsters can be.
