Sensitivity training needed
Bill Northrop’s commentary piece last Sunday stating the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial did not display racism shows he needs sensitivity training.
His attitude is reflected in the selection of news stories we read on a daily basis. African Americans are left to wonder if they have a hometown newspaper portraying their positive attributes. I guess one has to be a thug to receive publicity, because you can find them under the police report. These few do not represent the majority of African Americans who have given Washington an honorable name.
