Privatization the right course
There are pros and cons surrounding the possible privatization of Pennsylvania liquor sales, but it still comes down to only one issue – it is not the government’s responsibility to buy, sell and/or trade alcohol. Enforcing laws pertaining to age requirements, licensing and crime, I understand. But not the buying and selling of a product.
Privatizing the wine and spirits outlets may not be the perfect solution, but it does make perfect sense in what is the right course to take.
