News presented unfairly
I have never attended the church on the corner of Chestnut and Main in Washington, and I have no connection with it. Reading Thursday’s paper, with the picture of the marquee of the church on the front page, I assumed the “financial irregularities” and other charges had to do with leaders of that congregation. It wasn’t until the second page, tenth paragraph that it was clear that there were two unaffiliated congregations that use that space, and the charges had nothing to do with the main congregation, the Life Church.
I think that was an unfair and unfortunate presentation of the news.
