Full story on Trinity resignation
Trinity Area School Board members have been presented with the daunting task of providing the best education for our students while being faced with significant financial challenges. This board has worked to function as a body, with each member being informed on all items and issues through email and open discussions during committee meetings and public board sessions. We continue to work and move forward as we complete unfinished business from the past and restore the pride that our students and citizens deserve.
Facts that were left out of article printed April 3 regarding board member Jenene Hupp’s resignation:
• Ms. Hupp’s letter cited personal reasons for resignation, as well.
• Since January, Ms. Hupp has not attended any committee meetings – education, finance or athletic.
• Since January, Ms. Hupp has only attended two out of six scheduled board meetings.
• In the month of March alone, there were 165 emails that were sent to the entire board as a group.
As a school board member, you must take an active role and fully participate in the scheduled meetings and discussion to educate yourself on the current issues.
