I read the May 21 letter by Don DeAngelis and his insult to global-warming deniers and their love affair with fossil fuel producers by calling them ignorant.

I don’t take it personally, but I will not let it stand.

I encourage DeAngelis to do a Google search on petroleum products and look at the list. Does he bathe, brush his teeth, use heat or light candles? Or ride a bike, watch television and listen to compact discs? All of these activities require petroleum products. Unless DeAngelis is a caveman, he uses petroleum products.

So I will return the insult to all those global warming fanatics by simply stating that you are hypocrites.
