The difference between jobs and livelihood
Let’s knock off all the jive about a need for jobs in America. All who deny that slavery is a job are cordially invited to advance and be recognized.
A job carries no assurance of rewards that will support the American tenets of life, pursuit of happiness and liberty for all. A livelihood, however, does in fact do just that.
Should you not accept this, check it out for yourself. Compare the definitions for the word “job” and for the word “livelihood.” Then tell me to what you attribute politicians’ support for jobs in America, but not for livelihood in America.
As an afterthought, does the phrase, “American jobs” form an oxymoron? I think so.
