Lingering questions about municipal authority
The situation at the Tri-County Joint Municipal Authority leaves me with several questions.
Why did it take 47 months to find out they weren’t receiving reports? The board has a new chairman, but what about the former chairman and board members? They say our water is safe to drink. Is it? They also say the 3,500 customers will absorb the fines. Why should we absorb the fines?
Our water rates are high enough. There are a lot of unanswered questions and we deserve to have answers.
