Article was appalling
First and foremost, let me make this clear: I do not know, nor have I ever met state Sen. Tim Solobay. But I am appalled that the Observer-Reporter ran a front page article Tuesday about Solobay being questioned three years ago about his relationship with a woman whose husband was murdered, and would run it one month before the election. Is it a political ploy? Oh, I think so. Why would the Observer-Reporter want the records unsealed now? Why not last year, or after the election?
I have no idea if or what this man is guilty of, who he kisses goodnight, or with whom he travels, but I do know that the newspaper is able to crucify a candidate with unfounded information. Please think before you stoop this low again.
