The library saved our backs

1 min read

My wife and I are avid readers, which poses a problem when we want to travel aboard. Most of the weight in our bags is from the numerous books we pack for the trip.

When Citizens Library introduced the Waggon program, our backs were saved. Waggon’s program allows patrons to borrow books by downloading them through the Internet, or, in our case, a Kindle. While in South Korea last year visiting my wife’s family, we borrowed and read over 20 books in six weeks. This winter we were in Panama and downloaded and read over 20 books.

Waggon was available at all hours and the service never failed.

Though the library offers several other programs to the community besides book borrowing, we continue to support all the improvements they have made to make education accessible to the masses.
