Anyone in Washington County who received a reassessment notice from Tyler Technologies should check the measurements carefully. Tyler over-measured our home and detached structure, and also that of our neighbors, so it is not an isolated problem. A couple of feet here and there may not seem like a big deal, but when it comes to someone’s assessment, it will add to the amount of taxes that must be paid.

There is a time limit noted on the reassessment notice when corrections must be returned to the Tyler office. Washington County property owners should take note and act before that date.
