Trump letter uninformed

1 min read

We would have all been better off if Mark Swift had remained “quietly sitting on the sidelines,” rather than writing a letter accusing Donald Trump of being a facist, which appeared in the Dec. 11 Observer-Reporter. It was uninformed, historically incorrect and contained generalizations and half-truths. The term “fascist,” as used by Swift as a pejorative word, is almost entirely meaningless.

Trump did not propose to ban Muslims from entering the United States forever. He said it should be done temporarily until we can have safeguards in place to protect Americans.

Trump may be bombastic, but he sure is blowing the politically-correct crowd out of the water.
