Marcolini is a fine administrator
It is my pleasure to write a letter in support of Linda Marcolini, the superintendent of the Bethlehem Center School District.
During my 26-year tenure in the district, Marcolini has been one of its best administrators. She recently secured a $115,000 technology grant from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation. Marcolini is also implementing two new directives from the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s student learning objectives for teachers and a complex professional evaluation template. As she makes administrative decisions that are often difficult, Marcolini solicits and uses the professional opinions of faculty. In addition, she treats all members of our educational community with kindness and respect.
I am in a unique position to write this letter. First, my annual evaluation was completed earlier this year. Second, I plan to retire in June. The decision to write this letter is mine and mine alone. I simply want to support Marcolini and let the public know about her administrative excellence, courage, integrity, initiative and compassion.
