Sour grapes in Angel Ridge story

1 min read

After reading the Jan. 29 article about the owner of Angel Ridge Animal Rescue in Chartiers Township being cited by the state police dog warden for violations found in an inspection, I began to wonder who ate sour grapes.

At Christmas, I visited Angel Ridge for the first time, after calling to see how many dogs and cats were at the facility, so I could bring them all a bag with treats and a toy for Christmas. I went to every cage, and petted every dog, and all the cages were clean, had beds, blankets or rugs, and had food, water and toys.

An article like the one that was in the paper could damage a shelter that is taking in and caring for a lot of unfortunate, homeless animals and helping them get adopted.

Please support Angel Ridge and all our animal shelters. Visit Angel Ridge and see for yourself. Oh, and adopt a pet while you are there.
