Speaking up for deer
I understand the deer problem in Mt. Lebanon. But the way the municipality is dealing with it is inhumane and unethical.
Pushing and baiting deer into a corral and slaughtering them is not very sportsmanlike. Why not have a controlled archery hunt, like South Park does? As a hunter, I would rather see these animals taken lawfully instead of being taken by sharpshooters in the dark of night.
I know the hands of the Pennsylvania Game Commission are tied, because of the way the law is written for the permit process. Maybe the time to rewrite the law is now.
I know I am only one voice, but someone has to speak up for our wildlife.
