A slap on the wrist
Former Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky got another slap on the wrist.
Being sentenced to 30 days in jail is so ridiculous. He’s been out on bond for two years, received a partial pension payment of $200,000, and nearly $8,000 a month in retirement benefits. When the “little people” retire after 30 years on state jobs, they don’t even get one-fourth of that amount.
Pozonsky should have received a stiffer sentence just because he was a judge gone bad who was sentencing others to much longer terms.
