Disappointed by Canonsburg voters
Another Election Day in Canonsburg has passed, and the voters expectedly disappointed.
Not all voters, to be sure, but enough for me to submit this letter. They voted for the most familiar names and faces and those who are nice, forget that one incumbent voted to increase taxes at least once in just the past four years.
Is that nice? Is that friendly? What’s done is done, though. But the voters shouldn’t cry about the ballooning percentage of the borough budget that goes toward out-of-control employee salaries and benefits, leaving nothing for needed road or alley improvements, economic development, or something crazy like a tax cut.
