This is in response to the Friday letter by Gerard H. Weiss on the Syrian refugee crisis. I’m fairly sure that no one believes that all 800,000 refugees are terrorists. It is the ones using this situation and posing as refugees that should be of concern to us. No, widows and children probably won’t pose a threat.

Here is my problem with Weiss’ reasoning: These people have just fled from fighting in their own country. What would make Weiss so sure they would want to pick up arms and fight again for another country? Why would they suddenly have such loyalty?
