Getting out on the highways these days is like putting your life on the line.

Everyone goes at least 20 miles over the speed limit, always in a hurry to get to the next red light. People tailgate, because if you don’t everyone pulls in front of you. Stop signs merit a tap on the brakes, and no one knows what a yield sign means. Does anyone remember turn signals? They must be optional.

Don’t drivers remember the rules of safe driving and what traffic signs mean? I don’t understand where all the traffic cops are these days. I never see a car pulled over for a traffic violation. Something needs to be done.
