It’s all about the money
I have some thoughts on the recent actions by establishment Republicans. The current Republican frontrunner, Donald Trump, is a victim of slander and lies by Republicans like Mitt Romney. They want to degrade him and ruin his chances of being elected. Since when did they feel that it is their right to interfere with an individual’s right to run for public office?
It is obvious by the results of the caucuses and primaries that have already been held that a portion of the American public believes Trump is the person they want to be the Republican nominee for president.
Members of the Republican establishment should heed this warning. If they continue with their antics and Trump loses, it could very well be the end of the Republican Party and be all the help the Democrats need.
I would like to think that this is all about politics, but I believe it’s not about that at all – it’s about the fact that if Trump were elected, he would not be beholden to anyone. Just think of all the money American companies would have to spend to bring jobs back to this country. It’s all about the money.
