Ashamed to be an American
I’m ashamed to be an American.
I was planning a trip to Europe next fall, but not now, and not ever. I would be ashamed to show my face outside this country, a country where voters made a decision not based on rational thought, but thoughtless reaction. Voters responded with the visceral part of the brain rather than with the cognitive.
As the trade wars begin, raising prices on everything we buy, and the jobs don’t come back, more troops are killed and injured as Donald Trump increases our exposure in the Middle East – he knows more about ISIS than the generals – the chickens of the extreme right will come home to roost.
It is not too early for the Democrats to start planning for Elizabeth Warren to unseat the totally unqualified buffoon in 2020.
