Some questions about health care
In the great debates about health care and jobs I have questions in the following areas:
1. Did big business foresee the loss of jobs to technology, and how much does it contribute to lack of employment?
2. Did those who saw technology replacing workers and creating new jobs join with schools to prepare students?
3. Are there jobs available for every adult citizen with training?
4. Can every adult citizen afford health care?
5. Should everyone have health insurance, even if they unable to pay for it?
6. If everyone should have health insurance, who should pay for it?
7. Are all health facilities financially stable enough to treat the uninsured?
8. Should health facilities be permitted to refuse to treat the insured?
9. Should each state provide a level of health care without federal help? Can they do this?
